Now Legend is seeking to make his mark in technology, says Berber Jin in The Wall Street Journal (WSJ). He has launched a tech start-up called It’s Good, seeking to take on Yelp and Google Reviews with an app that provides personalised food and travel tips. Unlike its rivals, it will allow recommendations but not criticism – Legend says he dislikes the “negativity that pervades much of the internet”. The company raised $5m in funding this month from investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, a Silicon Valley venture firm that made an early bet on Snap.
