Any silhouettes or prints that you’re drawn to?

I like a tailored silhouette. If I’m wearing an oversized shirt, flowy skirt or pants, at least one of the other main items has to be fitted. I steer more towards a classic, subtle look. The only prints I like are that of African fabric.

Do you follow any trends?

I used to, but over time I have become more comfortable wearing simple, timeless pieces. Having said that, my mother is from Mozambique, so I have a lot of traditional fabric, which I’ve taken to tailors to have African outfits made. I wear them more often than before. So my style has gone from being trend-driven to either classic and tailored or African-influenced.

Flats or heels?

For work, I wear flats and sneakers a lot. I like Reebok, Nike, Zara and Country Road for sneakers. For going out and events, definitely heels, mostly from
