The editor’s SV story

Soon after the 2002 British Motor Show where I, too, immediately fell in love with the SV, I picked up a call from none other than Kevin Jones himself.

At the time, I was Deputy and was often Kevin’s ‘go to’ journalist on the magazine, as he knew I would deal MG Rover Group a fair hand. After all, I grew up working in a Rover garage and have had a lifelong soft-spot for the company’s cars so was predisposed to be less critical than some of my peers. Kevin and I have been friends ever since, which is why you’re able to enjoy his insider insight in these pages from time-to-time.
