SUPER ERROR

One of the most eagerly awaited products of the year, regardless of sport, was released during the second week of September when 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball hit hobby shops and online marketplaces.

But immediately after the release, a major error was discovered as Topps acknowledged that duplicate, non-autographed Superfractors had surfaced in Hobby boxes. Topps confirmed that there was one duplicate of 95 non-autographed Superfractors that were included due to a production error.

Topps addressed the error by offering a buyback program for each of the impacted cards, with prices ranging from $3,000 up to $75,000 for rookie Ethan Salas.
