Fergus and Craig Barlow became emotional first-time victors of their home event, the famous Mull Rally, on their first attempt at the rally with a Rally2 car as favourites John MacCrone and Daniel Harper both had their victory bids undone by mechanical dramas.
After impressing in both 2021 and ’22 with a Subaru Impreza, Barlow had one target this year as he stepped up to a Ford Fiesta Rally2: adapt quickly, drive “clever” and be there lurking behind Harper and MacCrone
