BIRD FINALLY LANDS OULTON WIN

Frank Bird finally ticked off a Neil Howard Stages victory to create history on the opening round of the new MN Circuit Rally Championship season at Oulton Park.

It was the event that co-driver Jack Morton targeted success in for his self-proclaimed ‘boy wonder’– one that kept eluding the ever-improving pair over recent years after a sequence of misfortunes.

Finally, that duck was broken in style with eight stage wins from the eight contested, with Bird and Morton earning an additional coup of becoming the first pairing to have won at each of the national circuits
