Deciduous hedging
Hornbeam and beech are particularly great choices for impressive and fast-growing hedges grown from bare-root plants. They provide leafy growth in summer and retain attractive coppery leaves through winter. Young plants, known as whips, are cheap to buy, easy to plant and quick to establish.
