COLOUR FRINGING

Every lens in this test group delivers fringing, even out at the extreme edges and corners of the image frame. With no in-camera correction applied, the pricier versions of the standard and telephoto zoom lenses are slightly better than the more budget-friendly options. Conversely, the lower-priced wide-angle and super-telephoto zoom’s control over colour fringing is more effective than the more expensive options.
