People person

I’ve long associated travelling with photography. Even at a young age, my grandmother would provide me with a camera and roll of film when we went away on holiday. I work for a European fashion retailer and get to visit the countries where clothes are made as part of my job.

The first time I visited Bangladesh in 2004, I wasbeauty of the people and the country. Before arriving, I did some research and a lot of the reviews were not favourable, but I found the country to be very special. I saw people’s hard work, resilience and strength. I wanted to show the beautiful aspect of this country to counter the negative news I read and to show Bangladesh in the best light using my camera.
