An artist by accident

Born in Dublin, Ireland in 1940, Jim Doherty started painting in 1983 and became a member of the Dandenong Art Club in Victoria.

He has participated in many nature paint field trips with Colin Johnson, and has studied under the guidance of Glo Edkins, B.A., for eight years. Jim has also undertaken studies in the finer points of art by Rosemary Todman, and has been under her guidance for the past 10 years. He participates in many exhibitions in Melbourne,
