Swamp Thing
The difference between ash and swamp ash is all about where it grows. Swamp ash generally comes from wetlands, causing the tree to grow quickly and less densely. This porous grain means that when it’s dried out, the comparative weight is much lower, making it an ideal wood for guitars.
