Back for the third year in their current form, our annual Practical Motorhome Awards feature the best motorhomes, campervans, gadgets and accessories on the market.
With 21 awards up for grabs, we’ve included 15 motorhome and campervan categories covering a range of budgets, sizes and types. To be eligible for entry, motorhomes and campervans must have been new or revised since our previous awards, and available for the 2024 season.
We know how much motorhomers love their gadgets and accessories, too, so this year we have six awards dedicated to all the great kit that you can buy to improve your touring.

Dethleffs’ van conversion range is coming to the UK for the first time! While some of the quirkier models are still being left on the Continent, the 540DR Advantage shows enough innovation to make it our winner in this category. In essence, you get a roomy front dinette, a kitchen with reasonable workspace and a fridge that you can access easily from inside and out, a serviceable washroom and a comfortable transverse bed, all within 5.41m of length. The designers achieve this by making compromises that won’t necessarily distract, such as a slight indent in the bed to provide more space for the washroom, and a handbasin that folds away to make room for the shower.
