I am not a dog person, I will admit. The trouble with canine companions is that at some point, you’re going to find yourself picking up after them. Or paying a four-figure vet bill.
Yes, they’re cute and fluffy, with boundless enthusiasm for life, but they come with a few downsides. Which is why it’s much better to enjoy them vicariously, by spending time with your friend’s pets. That way, you get to enjoy entertaining walks, while they get to deal with the vet bills, picking up, wrecked TV remotes and that all-pervasive reek of wet dog…
Labradors galore
