Dan Heller admits that’s a typical response when admirers learn that his resto-modded 1968 Mustang started life as a real Wimbledon White Shelby GT350 (car No. 02827, to be precise). Heller bought the Shelby 17 years ago from a friend, the car’s second owner, who had been the fastback’s caretaker for the previous 15 years.
