Anne Jackson describes the trips she’d take with her cub pack in the 1960s as “magical”.
“We’d meet at the station and it cost 10 cents to go anywhere, so we’d go off to Berry Island or take the ferry over to Taronga headland and we could easily spend a whole day playing on the rocks. We did things you wouldn’t think of now, and it hardly cost a thing,” the 74-yearold tells Woman’s Day.
