Did you know? The colour of frogs’ skin varies – in spring, males may have a bluish throat, while females can take on a pinkish/red tinge.

Diet Adults eat slugs, snails, beetles, worms, spiders, caterpillars, flies and other insects. Young tadpoles feed on algae and unhatched frogspawn.
