Variety in focus: lutino and albino

What are these varieties like?

BOTH the lutino and albino are real “specialist varieties”. They are a stand-alone mutation: in fact, the same mutation. It's just that lutinos are the green series birds and albinos are the blue series. The “ino” factor is well known throughout the animal kingdom. It's where there's no real colour pigment – for example, in human albinism.
