The desert effect

Many perimenopausal women report lack of interest in sex. But lots say they’re interested all right, but the sex they used to like is no fun anymore due to a dry vagina situation. Or they’re too busy, too annoyed and too tired.

One thing that many Australian women repeatedly brought up in the menopause survey for my latest book, is that sex with a drier vagina Thousands of women talked about having their libido affected, but many more talked in terms of not wanting to have sex because of not because their desire had otherwise disappeared.
