When sisters Rosanna and Christie Wollenberg built identical houses next door to each other they wanted them to follow the same mantra as the one behind the demi-fine jewellery brand they founded in 2016. Just like Otiumberg, (“berg is from our surname, and otium is Latin for taking time out to enjoy something artistically valuable”), the houses are beautiful, understated and created from natural materials.

“There’s a continuity to our product and we’ve really reflected that in our homes and vice versa. It’s all about natural style, they are both really an extension of who we are – so there’s a crossover of that aesthetic,” Rosanna tells us.

Before launching Otiumberg, which began with the creation of pieces they wanted to wear themselves but couldn’t find, both sisters came from creative fields: Rosanna worked in branding in New York and Christie for luxury fashion brands, including Burberry and Louis Vuitton in the UK and Middle East.
