Kia ora!

here’s nothing quite like a beautifulul baby story to make me reconsider my life choices – and this issue, we’ve got notactor Theo Dāvid and his partner Amanda’s sweet wee son Jude, who the star describes as a “chatty, high-pitched, squealing angel”. Due to the soap’s hectic filming schedule, it was touchand-go whether Theo would be there for his little lad’s arrival, but he made it to Gisborne by the skin of his teeth – for all the drama and super-cute pictures, turn to page 14. Meanwhile, in our real-life section, we catch up with Napier couple Joanne and Brett Wills, the parents of quadruplets Esther, Lucy, Jonathan and Oliver, to see how they’re getting on now the tots have turned one. As if having five children under three wasn’t hectic enough, the family recently ditched disposable nappies for reusable ones – and for the quads’ first birthday party, they hosted a party with 45 family members! I’m exhausted just thinking about it, but those chubby cheeks and gummy grins look like they’re worth it! Check out the full story on page 40 and have a great week.
