The passport club

Many campers – or anyone fond of hitting the road and seeking the open plains – have stories of something going wrong at some point. And it doesn’t necessarily have to happen on the road; the seed could have been planted at home, only to sprout later. Who hasn’t forgotten important camping or travel gear at home?

One such tale I personally experienced wasn’t the result of my own negligence, but that of a fellow camper. It unfolded one Easter weekend at the Algeria campsite in the Cederberg Mountains.
