In this issue we feature Rafael García Luna, a Spanish multi-award winning and exhibited landscape and nature photographer. Short Bio:
I was born and raised in Córdoba, Andalusia (Spain). My passion for photography began at the age of 10 when I first held my father’s Minolta X-370. I was very lucky to travel a lot with my parents and my twin brother growing up. We used to play a lot in the forest or camping with the family. I think this kind of education opened my eyes to all the beautiful places out there and taught me from a very young age to appreciate different countries, both from a cultural and scenic point of view.
It was back in 2006, when I had just finished my studies, when my first SLR camera came into my hands, a Canon EOS 7D, and that was when my true passion for photography began.
I’m mostly self-taught although I have undertaken several training courses, which have helped me to acquire knowledge and a workflow, which I am trying to improve every day.
