A late change of car didn’t prove to be an issue for Elliot Payne who set fastest time on three of the five Yorkshire stages on his way to winning the Trackrod Forest Stages in his dad’s Ford Fiesta Rally2.
Partnered as usual by Tom Woodburn, they had to push hard all day as they took their fourth BTRDA win of the year and clinch the Gold Star Series in the process as Payne became only the third driver to score back-to-back championship wins.
