DECIDE ABOUT BREASTFEEDING
You’ve just settled into a good routine with your baby, and you know that breast is best. Now you need to get your head around the fact that you are going back to work and that can impact your breastfeeding. Consider your options now and begin to introduce your baby slowly to the bottle. If you don’t have a breast pump already, now is the time to buy one. A pump will allow you to express milk and begin to build up a good supply at home for your carer to give to your baby while you are at work. Start thinking about your pumping routine at work too. When are you going to fit it in? Are you going to pump during lunch? Where will you keep the milk? Is there a suitable fridge at work? Make peace with the fact that it could take a while to establish an efficient routine. Remind yourself regularly
