LOS ANGELES — Marilyn Manson has reached a settlement agreement with a woman who alleged in a lawsuit that the rock singer and actor had raped her in his Los Angeles County apartment in 2011.

An attorney for the woman, named only as Jane Doe in court records, had filed notice of the settlement in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, which was obtained by the L.A. Times. A trial in the case had been scheduled to begin next week. The parties did not disclose the settlement amount.
