Say hello to WXV, the bright new competition that World Rugby hopes will continue the transformation of the women’s 15-a-side game. Hot on the heels of last year’s World Cup in New Zealand, WXV launches this autumn to provide an annual tournament for the world’s top 18 teams and a potentially vital springboard as the sport continues to professionalise.
