RAC issues French clean air sticker warning
Road users travelling in France now need to display a clean air sticker if they plan to enter Paris, Rouen, Strasbourg, Lyon and many other cities; failure to do so will incur a €180 fine (£154). If you ride a classic scooter, this will affect you as motorbikes and scooters registered before June 2000 cannot be driven at all where the restrictions apply.
