FROM BASEBALL CARD COLLECTOR TO EDITOR OF SCD

I started collecting baseball cards back in 1981. It was the year when major league players went on strike.

Along with baseball cards, I remember collecting the stickers of major league players and putting them in the sticker albums that were introduced and sold during the strike.

This eventually led me to start collecting football cards. The card collecting hobby had gotten me. I was hooked.
