We paid a visit to Somerset Archives and Local Studies just as staff were marking the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the National Health Service, tweeting images of an annotated copy of the NHS Act that still lurks in the county strongrooms. Alongside were photos of Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, originally built by the US Army during the Second World War, and images and cast details from a jollylooking staff pantomime called Little Red Nursing Belt.
