China is expected to see the average value-added growth of its computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing sectors kept at about 5 percent from this year to 2024, according to a work plan jointly issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Finance.

The combined operating revenue of major enterprises in the sector should top 24 trillion yuan ($3.3 trillion) during the period, as per the document.
