IN CONVERSATION WITH Victoria Yardley

Interview

How did Victory Colours come about?

Myself and my brother, James, launched the brand in 2015. Our family business growing up was a manufacturing company called Speciality Coatings, so we've always been immersed in the decorating industry. Sustainability is hugely important to both of us, and so we wanted to craft a collection of paints that embraced this without compromising on style. The name itself came from a few factors – my name, Victoria, my military background and because the factory is located on Churchill Way, in Nelson, Lancashire.

What's your background?
