Heavy is the head that wears the crown. This well-known idiom has us questioning the World Surf League: How can the CEO of a global organisation be the king and kingdom? The CEO wears a crown, because the kingdom belongs to the people. Yes, that’s right. We own the World Tour—not because we paid cash for it, but we continue to pay for it with our passion, our views, and our support. So, then, how can a person buy and own the World Tour?
