Cloncurry Stockman’s Challenge and Campdraft

It’s been a wildly successful and busy year for the Cloncurry Stockman’s Challenge and Campdraft Association. From the successful hosting of the ACA National Finals in April, to most recently the celebration of the 40th year since the conception of the Stockman’s Challenge. It’s been a monumental effort from the committee.

Since the start of the year approximately 5000 head of cattle, 490 competitors, $300,000 in prizemoney and 3450 competitive campdraft and challenge runs combined, have been run through the custom built Cloncurry Equestrian Centre, making this year the biggest year yet for their committee.

They are rightly proud to have achieved so much in Campdrafting and Challenging in the past 7 months, owing much of their success to the continued support of the community, local and state wide businesses, volunteers and the tireless enthusiasm of the committee members.
