Coonamble Rodeo 2023

All roads led to Coonamble Rodeo for the long weekend in June, and the weather was picture perfect sunshine for the weekend. The grounds were bustling with competitors and spectators who travelled far and wide basking in the sun. Entries were phenomenal, and the crowd, which reached over 4000, arrived to witness the action-packed three day spectacle. With spectators exceeding the local accommodation and the grounds bursting with competitors, the Committee opened a paddock across from the grounds to campers with caravans and swags. The Committee was blown away with the campers exceeding 600 for Saturday evening. Plenty of hot food, ice cream and drinks and, of course, a cool beverage was available at the XXXX Bar.

We kicked off the first day of action at 8am on Saturday with Barrel Racing, running through the rounds of all the events and finishing with a feature Bull Ride and Saddle Bronc Shootout!
