When Yes released in 1972, it would have taken one hell of a fortune teller to envisage this happening. Surrounded onstage by a whirling flotilla of young musicians, Jon Anderson is introducing “a song I heard on the radio in the car and loved”. It’s Eminem’s which one of the ensemble begins rapping. But wait! It’s morphing into a beautiful version of, with Anderson regaining the microphone. There are several such curveballs during the first set of tonight’s show, with Led Zeppelin’s (segueing into ) and Bowie’s (prefacing ) among the interludes, which seem designed to show off the youngsters’ talents while also giving their 78-year-old frontman a breather.
