The format remains the same: lush, billowing music powered by Englund’s emotive voice and Shankar’s evocative keyboards. There’s a sense of the quietly epic to , and AOR-edged anthem , but it never spills over into bombast. The pair are equally effective when they dial things right down, as on the sparse , with its haunting piano and sense of inner tranquility, although the ballad is a little too soft-centred and schmaltzy for its own good.
