As sewists, we all know the pain that comes from choosing the wrong fabric! Sometimes, fabrics have the ability to work but the pattern might have needed some tweaking to adapt it. Generally knowing how a pattern performs with different fabrics can take some time and experimentation. That’s why we rely on recommendations from a pattern or the designer to aid us through this process.
