We’ve worked with many amazing designers over the years, and some of them have been with us since the very beginning. We’ve asked a few of our longest-serving collaborators to share their memories, fave projects and more.
Lucy Croft
Favourite project: “My favourite project is called ‘Got Your Back’ and was published in issue 98. I love designing lacy mandalas but then I never know what to do with them. Adding one to the back of a plain T-shirt was a bit of a lightbulb moment! It was quick to make and really impactful. I made a mini version for my daughter when she was four and it received loads of compliments.”
“Probably the Hook ‘n’ Learn Blanket, which published as a CAL over 13 issues. It gave me a reason to use some of the less utilised stitches, like the Catherine wheel.”
