The nose is fruity and offers a nice ripe and fleshy fruit. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed strawberry and slight notes of toast, chocolate as well as fine hints of jammy currants. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy structure, good definition, smoothness, silkiness, tension as well as a nice sapidity and iodised hints. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of raspberry, pulpy/juicy cherry, tangy blackcurrant combined with touches of lily, nutmeg, toast as well as discreet hints of saline gravels and an imperceptible hint of almost eucalyptus (in the background). Presence of a subtle hint of chocolate and toast in the background.

The nose is fresh and offers a fresh/juicy fruit, a certain delicate power, some concentration as well as a nice fine, silky and stretched grain. It reveals notes of violet, crunchy raspberry and slight notes of fresh flowers associated with touches of fresh blackberry, liquorice stick as well as a subtle hint of racy minerality and graphite. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition, silkiness as well as a coating and delicate fattiness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy blackberry, pulpy/fresh raspberry and slight notes of crushed red berries associated with touches of exotic spices/almost green curry, pepper and a subtle hint of liquorice stick and toast. Good length. Very nice acidity!

Nice fruity, gourmand, silky and harmonious nose. It reveals notes of pulpy blackcurrant, bright blackberry and slight notes of strawberry associated with touches of liquorice, violet, a subtle hint of eucalyptus as well as slight hints of mocha and a hint of toast. The palate is nicely led, silky, dynamic and offers freshness, energy, a pleasant acidulous frame, a fine straightness as well as a tension and airiness at the same time. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and slight notes of Morello cherry associated with touches of small acidulous red fruits as well as slight hints of violet, chocolate, toast/torrefaction and a hint of toasted almond. Salinity and sapidity. Pretty silky and rich texture on the palate. The tannins are soft. Very nice acidity!

Château La Mission Haut-Brion 2020

The nose is fruity and offers a certain concentration, a finely tight grain, a lot of nobility as well as a nice rich touch, silky and delicate at the same time. It reveals notes of bright boysenberry, crushed raspberry and slight notes of creamy blueberries associated with delicate floral touches, fine hints of star anise, as well as a subtle hint of Bourbon vanilla, pepper of Madagascar and has a saline character. The palate is elegant, mineral (nice minerality!) and offers great juiciness, freshness, nice definition, tension, sapidity, an airy character in its richness, a nice stretched/straight character (but elegant and delicate) as well as a nice sapidity. There is a pretty nobility in this wine. Lots of precision and finesse. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy boysenberry, creamy blueberries and slight notes of raspberry/cherry associated with touches of cornflower, lily as well as a subtle hint of fresh nutmeg and sweet spices. Some creaminess in the aftertaste. Very nice acidity!

The nose is fruity, fresh, tense, racy and currently a bit tight (needs time to open up). It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed strawberry and slight notes of cornflower/violet associated with touches of creamy berries (blue, red) as well as hints of liquorice stick, salinity and a fine hint almost eucalyptus. The palate is fruity, coating and offers minerality, juiciness, some creaminess, a nice delicate fattiness, a certain straightness, but fine and without austerity, a nice minerality/freshness, a discreetly tight grain. A nice saline character. A “light” and delicate richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and slight hints of raspberry/small bright red berries associated with touches of violet, cornflower, liquorice stick as well as slight hints of salinity, racy minerality and with a discreet crystalline hint. The tannins are supple and elegant.
