Saudi clubs dominate Champions League build-up

To start with, this is the first time since the competition was formed in 2003 that it has switched from a single-year event, which usually starts in February and ends in November, to the European-style schedule that runs from autumn to spring. More significantly, this tournament will get more attention simply because of Saudi Arabia.
