Promenade Bondi Beach by Stella Collective

Collaboratively designed by House Made Hospitality and Stella Collective, the interior of Promenade Bondi Beach is inspired by the natural forms of its coastal surrounds. The brief for the combination restaurant-and-bar-and-kiosk requested a venue that was “elegant enough for a date night or celebratory occasion, yet also appealing to those who have just strolled off the beach.” This balance has been sought with soft hues that nod to the sandstone cliffs of the Bondi-to-Coogee walk, forming a neutral palette that ties together multiple spaces throughout the venue: ochre quartzite walls, cream leather seats and sand-coloured travertine floor tiles. The soft curves of the coastline are reflected in a serpentine arrangement of banquette seats, and a patterned ceiling mirrors the ripples of Bondi's sand bed. Decorative travertine tiles
