THE LONG-TIME FRIENDS ARE MORE LIKE FAMILY AS THEY WORK TOGETHER FOR THE FIRST TIME

It’s the last day of shooting on the homegrown mystery One Night and Nicole da Silva has brought a few boxes of donuts from a family-favourite bakery to the Sydney office block location, which are being devoured by cast and crew alike. In another room, Yael Stone, 38, is spending some down time between takes with her young baby Marli and her mother, who has helped with babysitting throughout the shoot. There’s a strong feeling of family and friendship, which the stars explain has been ever-present.

“It’s been wonderful,” shares Stone, as her daughter coos in the background. “For me, the experience has really been characterised by having Marli so young on set. We started when she was very little. The sense of support and camaraderie and enthusiasm around that has been particularly special.
