SUN SHONE ON BON ACCORD AS EXHIBITS SPARKLED!

The sun shone brightly on the Bon Accord Steam Club’s Steam & Vintage Fair at Castle Fraser over the entire weekend of Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 June, setting the mood for what is one of the UK’s, and not just Scotland’s leading preservation movement events.

With 17 traction engines, nine steam rollers, three steam wagons, two ploughing engines, 17 miniatures and even a steam launch, completed with naval-capped passenger (!), as well as the melodious sounds of a Gavioli Fairground organ, you might be forgiven for thinking that the line-up was impressive enough.
