MANY HAPPY RETURNS

There were many reasons to be cheerful about the NVT&HS last November. Not only were enthusiasts celebrating a prime selection of landmark anniversaries but also, we were so glad to see the return of this premier event after it was cancelled in 2020 because of the Covid-19 restrictions.

Anniversaries

The special celebrations included 75 years of the Grey Fergie (TE-20), 75 years of the Fordson E27N (carried over from 2020), 60 years of the David Brown 990 and 50 years of the Ford 7000. There was also a special one-off celebration of the 25th anniversary of “Fordson 500”, which brought together 1002 Fordson tractors dating from 1917 to 1966 at the Newark Showground in June 1996.

The organisers to date have received some extremely positive feedback, including one comment that stated: “This is a wonderful show, which has all types, makes and models of tractors and commercial vehicles as well. It is really great to see the community out today, supporting this really fantastic show here up at Newark.”
