Grimstead Empire then and now

In all probability, the best-known and most prolific in sales volume of the classic scooter dealers from the 1960s must be the Eddy Grimstead organisation. The longstanding Grimstead reputation and design flair has latterly launched a thousand custom scooters, such is its hold on the scootering devotees’ imagination.

THE MISSION

As has been discussed previously in numerous articles on the subject, the Eddy Grimstead ‘empire’ was something of a moving beast when it came to shop venues and the surprising scope of the organisation has previously been laid out in a list of the Grimstead outlets and a brief history of their existence under that banner.
