Back in 1994 I was on tour in English rock ’n’ roll legend Marty Wilde’s band. Marty was topping the bill and we had Joe Brown and others on the show, too. It was a 65-date roustabout and gave me a bit of spare cash. I was editing Guitarist at the time, and my bosses kindly allowed me to also be a gigging musician. And have done ever since.
