Add seconds to the System Tray clock
In its third ‘Moment’ update for Windows 11, which was installed on computers as part of ‘Patch Tuesday’ on 13 June, Microsoft added a setting that shows seconds in the taskbar clock. Right-click your taskbar then click ‘Taskbar settings’. Click the ‘Taskbar behaviours’ dropdown menu (in our screenshot below), then scroll down to the option ‘Show . Tick the box and the time will now show in the HH:MM:SS – hours, minutes and seconds – format .
