When someone trusts you enough to loan their motorcycle to you and knows it will be used in what is a tough environment then there is a duty of care – well at least for me there is – in force. Incidents do happen, things can break but the expectation of fixing the damage is there. Thankfully from my point of view the only damage which needed fixing was fairly minor and involved having the chain guard bracket welded back on, one of the folding footrest springs replaced and a new bolt in the rear brake lever.
