AMROBA supports the short-term solution to import foreign Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAME) to address shortages, and the new government-supported solution for the long term. That is, for the first time in Australia, make education responsible for trade and basic licensing training and qualifications in accordance with Australia’s obligations of convention annexes (1&8) and providing training packages to support each aircraft maintenance
