This fully loaded thriller has a welcome twist on the “one last job and I’m out” plot—in this case, Morgan, the ex-military killer in question (Henry Golding, below, looking much less cheery than), must face down six different lethal masters, all of whom have the other players in their sights as well. “This is a game,” Morgan’s mentor, Caldwell (Sam Neill), tells him, “and if you want to live, you have to play.” Good advice, especially when Morgan takes on Noomi Rapace’s equally effective hired gun Falk and tries to discover the mastermind behind this highcaliber cat-and-mouse quest.
